I just bought this book directly from the author at a fraction of what these sellers are asking, but wanted to offer a review to support this book. If you are on the hunt for ancient beauty secrets then this book is for you. I was delighted when my book arrived with a lovely vial of Esther's Anointing oil as well! It is so deliciously scented and richly aromatic. This self-published book is well researched and easy to read - although I do think it desperately needs an editor and designer to polish it up a bit. I have returned many self published books that are so in need of this that they are impossible to read - this is NOT that kind of book. It is worth purchasing and worth reading. I've emailed the author with several questions and she gets right back to me (love that!) and I have also just ordered another one of her books on ancient incense.

Insights of the Blessed Queen Esther

I love this book, it is a very good guidance for all girls and women. As a christian walking in the New Testament, this book can help going forward in life and if lost, confused or scaired the essence of Queen Esther from the Old Testament represented in this booklet is totally uplifting. After all, only when we know where we come from, then we know where we are going! Good to know that even in time of accelerated evolution, our ancestors did not abandon us and are still much involved. Eternally beautiful and admirable Queen Eshter, where also courage and feminity are well discribing one of the greatest female leader!

Loved this book!

As someone with a chronic illness, I found Jill's struggle to manage MS and remain as independent as possible well drawn and realistic. I enjoyed this story very much. It is easily the best book of the series.

Jae really raised the bar with this one. Not only is it her best work to date, this book truly highlights her attention to detail. Her vast amount of research is apparent from the start and the realism she gives to MS as well as the caretaker roll is breathtaking. Once you start reading you will not be able to put it down!

Loved this book. If I wasn't already engaged, I'd totally marry one of the characters. I liked this book a lot. Loved the stunt scenes. Can tell that he author did some research... or is a stuntwoman herself. You can't go wrong with any of her books.

A Fundamental Study of Nomadic Pastoralism in Inner Mongolia

In the pre-revolutionary Mongolian pastoral economy, the basic unit of production was the hoton, or hot ail. Drawing on work conducted by the Russian Mongolist A.D. Simukov in Mongolia in the 1930s, Sneath argues that the hoton is a fluid residential grouping of households, sometimes linked by kinship, and sometimes characterized by a patron-client relationship between rich households, who needed supplement labor to manager their herds, and poor households, who were remunerated with milk and wool in exchange for their services (39-41). It would seem that the hoton is a reflection of pre-existing social stratification. But how did inequality develop among the nomadic pastoralists of Inner Mongolia and elsewhere? Sneath’s field work, conducted in the late 1980s, puts him in a unique perspective to observe the development of material inequality. In the early 1980s, the People’s Communes, which had served as a kind of political and economic administrative apparatus, were disbanded and livestock and pasture were distributed to individual families. Sneath argues that several factors are responsible for the inequality that subsequently developed: herding is fundamentally uncertain, and some families experience significant losses while others are successful; individuals who are ables to influence political authorities obtain preferential access to pasture land; rich families, with too many animals for their supply of domestic labor to handle, will seek the assistance of poor families, who have too few animals for subsistence; this pattern of inequality will tend to subsist, as rich herders lease their herds out to poor families, they are unlikely be substantially affected by loss; poor families will consume a larger percentage of their herds for subsistence, making the accumulation of wealth more difficult (259).

Takehiko Inoue is the creator of one of the most popular manga of all time, Slam Dunk, which has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The excitement of Japanese high school basketball continues in volume 29 of “Slam Dunk”!

Volume 29 of Takehiko Inoue’s “Slam Dunk” continues to explore the Shohoku High School strategy in the underdogs taking on the A-ranked Sannoh Kogyo. With Shohoku behind, it’s going to take a new strategy and full-on teamwork for them to come back from behind.

While focusing on the fourth quarter of gameplay, the storyline focuses on Sannoh Kyogo’s phenom Eiji Sawakita and how he became a dominant player. From the moment he was born to when he was a baby, he was already playing around with a basketball and focused his life around it. His goal is to play in America, which Rukawa has wanted to do, but was told by Coach Anzai that he’s not good enough.

And now Rukawa is learning that his strategy is not even making a dent against Sawakita. But he remembers when going one-on-one against Ryonan’s phenom, Sendoh, he once told him that his gameplay is the same as playing one-on-one and that if he continues to play that way, he will never win in a game against him.

With those words, Rukawa thinks he may now know a way to defeat Sannoh Kyogo but they better find out how to do it as the time is dwindling under three minutes in the fourth quarter. Can they mount a comeback?

The thrill of the game of basketball is quite evident in the pages of volume 29 of “Slam Dunk”. With a total of two volumes left in the manga series, Takehiko Inoue definitely wants to show readers that this game will not be like any game Shohoku has played. This time, the defending champs will show why they have won three years straight but will Shohoku have an answer to their amazing offense and defense?

As for the manga series, Takehiko Inoue’s illustrations have always been a highlight for me and I was always amazed of how he captured movements of basketball. From the layups, the dunks, the defensive coverage and just the feeling of basketball, he captures it so well in the pages of each manga release.

Overall, “Slam Dunk” is an enjoyable manga series that is not just for basketball fans but for those who want a manga series that captures the spirit of basketball, competition, the strategy involved in the sport but a captivating storyline with cool characters that makes this series worth recommending!

The latest volume is somewhat of a quick read because it focuses on basketball and with Takehiko Inoue’s artwork, he tries to capture the intensity of basketball in his pages with very few word balloons. But for basketball fans, you can’t help but be captivated by the underdog/beginner Hanamichi and the entire Shohoku High School Basketball Team because they fought this hard…can they beat the champs?

“Slam Dunk” Vol. 29 is highly recommended!

I love Slam Dunk so much but it took so long to finally fully publish over here. This is a great series and although the drawings are older, the story is so funny you won't be able to put this book down.
